The people who are starting college this fall were born in 1991.
They are too young to remember the space shuttle blowing up.
Their lifetime has always included AIDS.
The CD was introduced two years before they were born.
They have always had an answering machine.
They have always had cable.
Popcorn has always been microwaved.
They never took a swim and thought about Jaws.
They don’t know who Mork was or where he was from.
They never heard, “Where’s the Beef?”, “I’d walk a mile for a Camel ,” or “de plane, Boss, de plane.”
They don’t have a clue how to use a typewriter.

Yeah, thanks for this. My arthritis wasn't making me feel old enough this morning. Especially liked the typewriter thing, in high school typing class I learned on a "state of the art" IBM electric.
i was telling my kids about pong
Love it.
They don't know what vinyl is either, LOL.
Lucky devils never had to suffer through a disco song either..
Gotta agree with everyone on this... I learned to type on a manual in high school, I had the Radio Shack version of pong, I just donated all my vinyl to a Boy Scout yard sale 4 years ago but then, I don't remember disco either... ah, the joys of medication!!! On the other hand, I can remember being in elementary school when states 49 and 50 joined the union... and I remember where I was when Kennedy was shot... sigh...
